Okay so I was thinking... it is the first time in months I have had time to do anything at work other than work... I was thinking about Addy.
Some Addy'isms:
She loves to stomp like an elephant. She loves to read read read. She enjoyed hiding easter eggs and finding them (in the open). She has Dora the exploerer shoes. Though she prefers to where her furry crocs that trip her up. She greets Calhoun, our cockapoo with a hug or kiss just about every morning. She has an extensive vocabulary and still signs regularly, though has droped some of them due to her word usage. She can scribble with a crayon but looses interest. She loves to have me sweep up the porch and then she will sweep. We gave her a breathing treatment the other day and I called it bubbles so now she looks at the machine every night and asks about bubbles. She loves bathtime but dreads it simutaneoulsy b/c she knows it means beadtime is nearing. She is actually starting to "watch" the video we put in for her in the morning. She asks for bows in her hair and then pulls it out only to try to put it back in to then only take it out again. She loves wagon rides and always has an ear for a passing airplane. She loves her teacher Ms. Debra. She loves art and her friends Havanna, Andrew (she says with a smile everytime), Jaxon, Jaxson, Talia, Emily and Victoria (tora). She likes eating ice. We go for walks where she sweeps away dirt to find rocks. She has gotten out of the habit of walking Calhoun herself, but likes to go. She loves music (I play it for her in the car and during bath time). Row row, spider, happy and you know it, stop-- go, Jesus loves me... to name a few. She likes bryan's guitars. She doesn't like it when I cook as she insits on being held (hold you). She loves her Daddy. She will call for him when he comes home and we are in a different room. She like crawling into the 4Runner. She is such a sweetie... outgoing but cautious, active (but not rambunctious), will try things on her own (though asks for help), smiles smiles smiles that lights my heart up a mile! I love you little Adeline. I can't wait for you to be a big sister and pass on your sweetness to her, your gentle spirit, and full of funness too! You are a gift from God.

Sassy sent an email today in response to several pictures of which some are above: "No wonder it took so long for you to get pregnant...God wanted y'all to have the perfect egg & he waited til Addy came up. She's the best!!! Don't tell me she's gonna be a shoe nut like her Mom! You'd even ask people to let you wear their shoes. Those barretts are cute. Too bad you didn't have 24 of them like your pack did. Did she ask for all of them to be put on? She's getting that guitar playing down! Look at those fingers! It's so wonderful that you both can spend time loving her like you do. Love you all! Mom"
Addy is a little crazy about my shoes. This morning getting them off her feet and onto mine so we could go created a melt down. Much better tonight before bed.
She kept saying more and more for the barretts. Normally after one she is done and then quickly pulls it out. We are back to that today.
She was and is the perfect egg I agree.
Time with her flies. Bryan is such great help.

The little one in my belly is very active. Almost more active now than Addy at 9 months. She was kicking Saturday and I literally could see my arm move from the motion. 23 weeks can you believe it!

What an awesome day! We (Adeline, Calhoun, Bryan and I) started out walking in Haile, our neighborhood, enjoying the fresh market and buying a blueberry muffin to share. We ran into Dr. Johnson who delivered Adeline and got to tell him about our new bun in the oven (13 weeks).
Next Adeline went off to Hoggetowne Medieval faire at the fairgrounds here in town. We saw all sorts of neat stuff. We saw elephants, camels, folks dressed up, horses, belly dancers, fire jugglers, mini horses. Adeline would not ride on the mini horses. I like the caution she exhibits. We did all of this with Stephanie W., her special friend Travis, Lindsay S, from work, and her 5 yr old son Sebastian. It was a great time.
Then we came home, Addy napped while bryan and I watched the Gator B-ball game (they lost). Next we went to the Veterans park just down the road b/c it was a BEAUTIFUL day. We took shovels, rakes, sifter, bunny mold and bucket and played in the sand until a poppy diaper appeared. Bryan buried Addy up to her waist in sand. She is such a good sport. She tried to bury Bryan and myself with little handfuls of sand at a time. She would also dig her hands down deep in the sand just like she saw her dada do. With a half clean hind end we headed home, bryan bathed Addy and off we went to I Love NY pizza. Addy loves "izza". Then after enjoying it from outside we headed home.
With Addy sound asleep. We started working on a "Lost" puzzle. Next thing you know we have Martha and Bill delivering the best tasting strawberries ever. Could be a better day!
What a blessed day of time with family and some friends too.

My Dream Job!
I love Adeline :)
Posted by Picasa
Adeline is the bomb! She is now pulling up, had 5 teeth (3 up top and 2 on the bottom), she laughs a lot, claps, rolls, and throws in the pan with patty-cake, throws her arms in the air when you say touchdown, and speaks fluent gibberish. I love that little girl. I will have to catch up all up on pictures soon.
Right now I'm trying to plan her 1st birthday party. The thinking is a cheerio theme since she can't get enough of them.

Poor little Adeline scratched her eye this week. It was very traumatic. She is a tough one though and quickly adjusted. We also celebrated this week Bill/Grandpa B being elected Newberry City commissioner. It was very exciting we all went to backyard bbq to celebrate the win.

Addy - I just want you to know that today Bryan and I were trying to claim certain body parts as coming from one of us. Bryan claims your ears and eyes. He says you have my lips - we shall see. And I claim your toes! We love you head to toe that is all I am sure of! WE can hardly wait to see what a wonderful lady you will become. We also look forward to teaching you about God and showing you so many cool things in this world that He created for us to enjoy. I have a feeling much of it will be outside. Calhoun loves you too. He loves to lick you - we call it giving kisses. We only let him give you kisses on the feet and back of your head. He does like to steal your pacifier. Which is a little cute, so it is hard to get too mad at him.
love you little girl!
